Barclycard Statement Date.

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has encountered the same frustrations with Barclaycard Simplicity Card as myself regarding statement dates?

Every month the date seems to be roughly around the same date but seldom the same, which is incredibly frustrating. They also seem to fastrack pending transactions to ensure they appear on the statement when they produce it.

For an example using the same retailer during the month will take 3 days for the transaction to appear on the account, yet make the same transaction at the same place in the morning and the statement is produced at the midnight and it will appear and clear the same day on the new statement.

I was wondering if there is any CC which produce the statement the same day every month and stick to it?

All of the credit cards I have ever held vary the statement date by a day or two each month.

Just par for the course I'm afraid.

Thanks izools, I can appreciate that if the date falls on a weekend it would normally be the next working for example but my dates can vary as much as + or - 4/5 days its nuts and driving me nuts too!
