My nan wouldn't go near the supermarkets, she shopped local. She always used to say that they'd take over and put the small shops out of business, then we'd all be forced to shop there.
She was nearly 90 when she died 7 years ago, seems she was right.
Do you think they'll do a Tesco Value/Finest haircut?0 -

:rotfl:Thanks everyone for the replies
I'm actually a bit surprised how many people would use it as it's just so unappealing to me! I didn't know asda already salons, there is no asda near me (at the moment!). :rotfl: at the idea of value and finest haircuts - there is nothing more unappealing then a tesco value haircut! 0 -
I would defiantly do this, I just paid 40 quid for a mediocre hair cut and wasnt even offered a drink! Hairdressers prices never seem to be clear or fair. If tesco can give a good price then sure I would!Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0

My local big Tesco has a Supercuts in which is run by the woman who used to run the high street one I use, so I knew she was trustworthy. Last week I popped into Tesco for a few bits and came out 2 hours later with a new mobile, a load of groceries, a new pair of glasses and a nice haircut - although I fogot the bin bags!Total Wins 2011: Zilch

I would almost certainly go for a value cut! My hair is long and has no layers, it doesn't take long to cut as there is no shaping and when the weather is warm I don't bother with a blowdry. Yet I always have to pay a premium for having long hair! I actually trim it myself mostly, but like to have a salon cut once a year or so.
Slightly off topic, but wouldn't it be a good idea if prices were based on the time they took rather than hair length?0 -
prob would dependant on price0
