I need to leave my partner, or him move out. We live in a 3 bed house, 2 daughters. I don't work, he pays for everything. Won't bore you with details but we can't carry on.
How much would I be penalised if I stay in our house? The rent exceeds the lha rate, he will pay the excess until I get myself, childcare and job sorted. How much would they deduct for the 3rd bedroom?

Have you thought about applying for a dhp (discretionary housing payment) this is a payment made by the local authority to help pay any shortfall in your rent, we normally pay about £5-£10 per were extra to people in your situation. But this depends wholly on your la, as it is discretionary to the assessor who deals with your claim and discretionary on the la area.
Just something to think about claiming
