What reductions can you get if you are on JSA?

I am on contrabutions JSA. Recenlty I found out that I can get free swimming and gym at my local leisure centre.

Is there anything that I could take advantage.

As they say... every little helps.

For most things, you'll have to be on income based JSA.

Please be aware that you need to be on income based JSA to get help with health costs, don't do what some people do and claim anyway as the fines are just not worth it.

If you are on a low income get hold of an HC1 form from the job centre and send that off to get free prescriptions.

    grr...
At my local leisure centre they didnt ask for Income based JSA or Contrabutions JSA. They did ask for proof, which I provided so I havent lied.

Also I live in Wales so presciptions are free anyway.

Just wondered if there were things like courses etc that would be eligible.

Course concessions are for those on income based benefits, those who don't have a level 2 course (and are studying level 2) or under 25 and don't have a level 3. (and studying level 3)
