Im sure this has been done, but are there any threads or sites giving advice on buying and selling cars on Ebay. It doesnt matter if the advice is bleeding obvious.

Buying:- Go and see the car and treat it like any normal (cash) car transaction (ie small ads), don't moan after the event if its not as described (unless the seller has tried to conceal something). ossibly get the AA/RAC to have a look. Older cars I tend to pay for an MOT which saves a lot of hassle (mind you I have a mate so the cost is low for me)
Selling:- Good extensive photos make a huge difference (try and find a nice background) don't skimp on your description and if it has a spot of rust show that on a photo and mention it in your description etc. Buyers just want to feel you are being honest.
Selling on EBay is like selling anywhere, only accept cash or bank transfer and don't release the car before you have the money in your sticky mitt.
