£140Million for a 3 bed apartment in London. Hurry, they've nearly all gone.
Looks like everyone wants to invest in London.:money:
But as the report says:
"Property experts say that international buyers view London as a stable, safe market for money."
So London is where it's at!

I wonder how much they will be selling for in a few years time? My guess is less than a mil each if prices keep falling as they are.0

"But the Candys claim that 60pc of the 83 apartments have already been snapped up, mainly by foreign buyers from the Middle East and Asia."
So, anyone but the people actually living here can afford them?0 -

I think we have the most bearish comment EVER on MSE. Take a bow. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
A surprisig number of those sorts of apartments are empty for 11 months of the year, or more when bought. Its just so people have a home to go to after shopping or socialising. Shopping mainly. I don't get it really. Lots of the places they shop they could get the same stuff in other leading cities, where they also have apartments. And probably cheaper...but I suppose they are hardly sweating the small change.0

These flats are the equivalent of Louis Vutton or Prada handbags - their price bears no relationship to the general market. They exist in a market of their own, with the price determined by demand from buyers with more money than sense who want to overpay for a status symbol.0 -
