Taking Southeastern Railway to Small Claims Court...

My boss could be a right git if he wanted and force me to work late or dock my pay for being late and I would have to do it.
Either work late on those days when you arrive late, or expect a reduction in your pay to reflect the hours not worked.
Perfectly reasonable.0 -
Why should I not be entitled to compensation? This is why I want to take them to SCC.
If you are entitled to compensation, have requested it and not been paid, then you could use the SCC and expect to win.
But if you just are cross because they are poor (service wise), and want to sue them for compensation you think you should be given, then you do need to be able to prove they are liable to compensate you - otherwise your case will fail and you will be left out of pocket over the court case plus having to pay the other sides expenses.
As previously advised, get some legal advice first before embarking on this.0 -
You have my sympathy, but you will 99% not win at court.
You have admitted that your connections are 'a bit of a rush', and that some days you haven't even bothered trying to get to work - you simply won't win on that I'm afraid.0
