Can I apply for the Barclaycard Platinum?

Hi

I have seen that Barclaycard Platinum is offering 0% for 17 months I was wondering if i can apply for it as I already have another Barclaycard? I know i can't transfer debt from the current Barclaycard but can I get it and transfer from other prividers?

    I already had a Barclaycard Platinum (albeit a dormant one that was originally issued by Morgan Stanley) when I successfully applied for Barclaycard Platinum. Later I gained a third because of some other takeover (?Monument?). That was a couple of years back. I don't remember any specific prohibition.

    If it doesn't say you can't, then I'd go for it!

    If you try the pre-application checker here it says that if you already have a BC, tough luck......

    I think you can call them or something.

    You can't hold two similar cards - so you could apply for a partner card (Orange) or Breathe card.

    Not another standard VISA Barclaycard though (Initial / Gold / Platinum)
