Does anyone know of any charity places that will take electrical items? Ive never seen any of the local charity shops with electricals in before....
Our microwave broke so got given a spare one someone had lying around, my parents then bought us a new one for christmas so the other one is just sitting there doing nothing now. Good working order and everything so would be a shame to get rid of it without it going to a good cause....

Most charity shops do not take electricals as I believe they have to test them before selling them on. However, there are a few, in my town the British Heart Foundation run an "electricals" shop that sells furniture/white goods/TVs etc.As of 24/11/2020

google 'furniture recycling network' and see if there's a local one: they will often take white goods if none of your local charity shops do.Signature removed for peace of mind0
