hi i lent money to a friend and she was so grateful she insisted on paying me bk extra (and paid it into my bank) now i get tax credits and i was just wondering if this makes and diference to my claim and should i declare it? it was £600

Hi. It's your money, leaving you at some point and being returned to you at some point. It's not "income"
So NO. Your don't have to advise the Tax Credit Office.
