Appealing a FPN from the Police.

Hi
I recieved a ticket from the Police for "uncessary obstruction", however it is stated on Martin's section on Police fines, that it should state The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the ticket.
Mine doesn't, do you believe I have grounds to appeal and will this stand up as I would have to go to court?

There is no appeal process for a FPN if you disagree with the issue you have to ask for a court hearing, where your argument will be heard. For best advice on a FPN go to Pepipoo and post a scan of the front and rear of the FPN make sure you take out your personal details. http://forums.pepipoo.com/0
