Sorry if its a silly question but my teen son is after one (I dont know what all the buttons on my mobile phone does still!!!) so any info on the difference on the size of Ipods is very much appreciated - thanks

basically the GB is the storage space, so a 30 gig will hold 7 1/2 times more than a 4GB and an 80GB is will hold 20 times more than a 4GB.0

It's all down to storage, an 80gb ipod has 20x the capicity of a 4gb version.0

You can get plain music Ipods, Photo Ipods (play music and store, display photos) and Video ipods (play music and store display photos and videos)
If you are comparing different capacity music ipods then the only difference may be the number of songs it will hold and possibly how long playback is
