    Just had one from "MCS" telling me there's a message waiting for me. I need to call back 0871 240 1400 (or 1410)
    I thought this scam had been stopped?

    No, they just change numbers.

    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    I had that one too! I thought about calling it then realised no one would leave me a message worth hearing so it's gotta be a scam. :eek:
