    Hi
Do you mean that you only paid £800 for it when you bought it? or that the dealer recently valued it at £800 for you?

I'm not sure how vehicles are valued by the OR for a DRO - might be worth asking on the DRO thread - to see if you can use a written third party valuation rather than the parkers valuation. This is a link to the thread and also a post which may help http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=31300047&postcount=948

I thought parkers listed all reg's - do you know why your 53 plate is not on there? is it an import perhaps?

    hi tixy,
it was £4000 when new. its now 4yrs old and dealer valued it today at £750. for a dro your allowed to keep a vehicle valued under £1000. does that make more sense?
    thanks mandy
parkers only seem to have up to 53 plates and mine is an 06
