Amazon's Perferred Sellers?

I've a couple of items listed for sale on Amazon & I've noticed that the volume sellers (the ones with the logo in the new and used listings) gain preferential treatment by having their prices listed on the main item page.
My question is does anyone know anything further about this? I'm a very small volume seller with 100% feedback - much better than my competitors' for certain items. Does anyone know how I go about raising the profile of my items in this way?
Thanks
