Hi there
This may be a stupid dumb question (I know someone somewhere will say ' Is this poster serious'). How do I record MP3 cds?
I have a dvd/rw drive on my computer but my car stereo also plays MP3 cds. I want to put my own compilation onto cd but I'm not sur ehow to do it. Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

nero has an option to create mp3 disks , you could also try this guide
There is loads of free software here
As far as I know though, and I am sure I will be corrected if wrong, just create a data disk full of MP3's and it should work0 -
Thanks for your quick response. I already have nero but didn't know it could do mp3 cds. That'll teach me to read the box won't it?
If a moderator could close off this thread thanks.

You can also do one on it-tunes on edit/preferences/advanced/burning - select make mp3 cd0

Should be able to do it with any CD writing software, just write the MP3s to the CD using the data option!
I have a Kenwood MP3 Car Stereo which is about 6 years old, it works fine if you do this, so I'm sure newer ones will.
On mine, putting too many folder layers upsets it, but otherwise it's fairly tolerant.0
