Hi guys,
Right I'm going to be one of those incredibly annoying people that say 'help I don't know what I'm doing' sorts
Basically, I started a new job at the start of the year (YAY) and I'm incurring far more expenses than previously. It's all covered by work but the expenses are paid monthly, so if I have a hotel room to cover in the last week of the month, it leaves me with a nasty dent in the purse.
Anyhoo, I am 21 and have absolutely no idea what would be the best thing to look at. I currently have a debit card with Halifax, a phone contract, catalogue payments, new car on HP and a gym membership (not so sure that one counts lol). So there is a credit history there, I just don't know what to look for in a credit card.
Ok, well I think I've bored you to death now
Any advice would be great and much appreciated!
Charlotte

You need to ask your bank first as with no credit card history you will only be able to look at sub prime lenders who will give you a credit limit of £200-£300 with a huge APR.
Your bank should be able to offer you something providing all is in order.0 -
Agree-with limited history your bank is ur best bet.. However are you still in probationary period? I would wait until your probationary period is over, just that it is better for the application.0
