How much is a car parking space worth?

  • Thanks for the advice, I've decided I'm going to put down a deposit. The parking is the only thing not to like about it. I don't know what the rules are with visitor parking at such apartment blocks, I occasionally take the work car home so I don't know if there are times I could park occasionally or even if visitor parking even exists...another question to ask tomorrow.

I've lived in flats with and without parking and it's a definite bonus if available. Check if you aren't using it if you are allowed to rent it to someone per month? I reckon it's a good reselling point, particularly if it is difficult to park and you come back from the supermarket with bags full :)
  • I know you posted a while ago but can I ask if the flat with parking and more expensive is being sold privately or by the housing association?

Being sold privately through the developer and a local estate agent. Housing Association price £175 000 Developer price for same layout flat above £209 000.
