Big fat gypsy weddings

I dont whether to laugh at them or cry for them?! Getting 'grabbed' sounds so wrong, but then they are quite moral in some ways (don't have sex / drink before marriage), but then how sexist that they can't go to work and have to spend their lives cleaning their vans out. Weird, really weird.
That dress is terrible btw - why would you want a big slit up the front of your dress so everyone can see your knickers on your wedding day? I did think it would be easier to go for a wee in than mine though :rotfl:0 -
Only if she uses the disabled loo.
This is horrible. Please let her go!!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
That 'grabbing' of Cheyenne is making me really bl**dy angry now . Moral, my a s s. There is nothing moral about that, and your pal walking away. "You just have to live with it". AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I thought I was going to watch this and find it funny, but mostly its making me mad, and really sad for those young girls being brought up to think that cleaning is more important than school, and that it is ok to get battered so the lads gets a snog, and 7 year old bumping and grinding.

im fuming! that girl was being assualted and just becuase its 'their way of doing things' then her 'mate' walked away and they all find it ok. is it hell. if we saw that we would be reporting it!
i think our society is scared of being called racist that we let this happen really- we make programmes like that for entertainment, and 'we' accept it by watching, by laughing, and not doing anything.
just because its 'their way of doing things' it is not right- they live under british/irish laws- and assault is assault.
and dont even get me started on the wedding dresses - the more scars the better. what?! im sorry what about love and commitment. ? was the word love even mentioned??
and the 7 girl old? im not even going to go there
and yes the sexist remarks about women doing the cleaning.
ahhh im so angryIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

I'm a little bit gutted that she has "my" dress :rotfl:
Jeez don't worry about the cuts it will make...imagine the chill she will have got with that big gap in the dress :rotfl:
It's another world for sure...massively moral on some things, but have other things completely t*ts up !!! Poor girl getting assaulted in the car park :mad:0 -

Could not agree more! It is absolutely ludicrous!
I said to my hubby "some mate she is!". Can't believe she walked away and left her in that situation. Then did you hear the screams in the background??
Awful!
Not to mention the fact that the Groom called the Indian wedding he drove past "a Paki wedding" - disgusting!! That is surely racist??:mad:When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j
and remember...
All the worrying in the world won't change anything...so breathe:beer:0 -

It is in my book and if it was himself getting called some derogatory term, and I can think of a few, then there would be a HUGE row over it!
Going back to the cleaning issue etc - I remember once asking a gypsy traveller for some ID (in an official capacity) and he said he didn't have any with him. When I asked where it was his answer
"THE WIFE DIDN'T PACK IT FOR ME".
Needless to say I ripped him a new a*@$hole for that one! I wouldn't have minded if he had just forgotten it but for a grown man to openly come out with a sexist comment like that, especially to a female, and show his inability to treat others in society with the even remotest levels of equality. Well, lets just say he caught me on a slightly off day and made my blood boil!!!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -
The communion bit made me laugh , the way the other kids looked at the nutter in the pink and walked away for her.
In the old days they would have thrown rotten fruit.
The girls fashion style makes me think they are all the lost moronic tribe of Katie Price devotee's0 -

Ha ha ha! Completely agree.
This programme infuriated and amused me in equal measures. The sexism and racism was unreal!
I'm not sure I believe for a minute that these girls don't have sex or drink before marriage!
And do you think one of those boys is prepared to assault them with the 'grabs' and only get a kiss? I don't think so! How could Cheyenne's mate AND the camera crew walk away while she was being assaulted? The girls are hardly likely to say on camera that they disagree with being 'grabbed' or having to live as skivvys, because then they would be in trouble!
That wedding dress was absolutely hideous! It wasn't a split up the leg as they said- it was completely missing the front! So much for their morals and religion and respecting the church etc!
And the clothes and..... err 'dancing'(?) made every one of them girls look like !!!!!s! What about the posing on the snooker table in Spain and against the cars? Absolutely vile.
Edit: MSE has blanked out a word that begins with 'w', ends in 'e' and has 'hor' in the middle! If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0
