Why do I watch this? I feel sick now.

Scarred 6 year olds, sexual assaults and women who think that they can only be housewives.

I know it's just the most outrageous bits and being talked up for tv, but still....

    It's just...just so wrong.
Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.

  • it really annoys me that they say they have morals- im sorry but they dont pay taxes, live where they dont have planning permission, make their small children get fake tans, make up, dance like sl**s, scar themselves with sick dresses, sexually asault, and clean the house.
    its a disgrace

  • Well if the brides family was paying for the wedding then I can tell you where that came from, the mother now owns a pub in newton le willows, The husband must have some sort of tree cutting business, but on the road where the bride came from there has always been a gypsy family living there I use to live on that road over 13 years ago my house was over the road from hers, Luckily we moved to a different area before they moved in but we still have friends in that area.

As for the young girls I think it is a bit disgusting how they allow them to dress and dance my niece is 6 years old she would be getting a clip round the head if I seen her dancing or dressing like that. But did you notice there wasn't a traveller bloke in site with the majority of the programme

This is what disturbed me the most. Those young children bumping and grinding, wearing outfits more suitable for strippers.. What kind of example does that set them? How can that be ok?

I would be interested to know what the stats are for domestic violence, rape, and sexual abuse in the travelling community. It seems to be accepted though, so it wouldnt be seen as a problem I presume. Tbh, I have never had a particularly high opinion of travellers, purely based on what I have witnessed round my local area, regarding travellers, and this programme has not helped in the slightest.

I agree with the person that wrote about the sense of family, thats a positive, but the rest. It makes me feel a bit ill.
