Make sure the pollen filter doesn't need replacing and check the water drainage channels aren't blocked with dead leaves/crap (which causes water to pour into the blower after it rains).

Why has nobody pointed out these extremely common problems?

  • My car (Ford Focus) is a nightmare for letting water in and the problem is always with the pollen filter (which is replaced each service but is difficult to replace properly). I've asked the garage to stick it on with something tough this time!

I have a similar issue due to wet fishing gear, clothes etc.

Whenever I'm driving home for the last couple of miles I will switch the heater to cold and crack a window open.

Leaving the car full of cold air which can't hold as much water is better than hot which simply condenses on the glass as it cools.

    Seems to help.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
  • Get a big bowl and fill it with salt and rice (more salt than rice).

The salt will take moisture from the air and the rice will take moisture from the salt allowing the salt to take more moisture.

And then you can allways make a chilli con carne with the end result?? ;)

Because many vehicles do not have pollen filters and due to various designs drainage channels can be no where near the blower.

    not extremely common at all...
