I've won an item on Ebay on Sunday evening (washing machine) and sent them a message asking when I could collect the item, as yet there has been no response.
They left a mobile number on the listing which I have tried but the number does not exist. I have sent a further message last night and also requested the contact details from Ebay and tried the phone number on there which is not in service.
I have a feeling they have not got what they wanted for the washer ( brand new integrated washer dryer won for just over £100 when they are £350 in the shops) and as such are trying to stop me from collecting it.
I have seen another washer on Ebay that is in my price range, not quite as good as the one I have won, but still good enough and comes with 12 months guarantee.
Should I accept that i am not going to get the washer I have won and buy another. We're quite desperate now as the washer died just before christmas and its costing us £8 - £12 per week to wash clothes at the laundrette.

Just had the following message on Ebay from the seller.
Think I know the answer but, is there anything I can do if he does not want to sell other than report it to Ebay.sory i didnt put a reserve price on it, apologies, theres no way im going to let it go for that cheap, my cheapest offer would be £300
Also he has relisted the item before allowing me to respond.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

I have contacted Ebay and sent them an email as requested about the seller refusal to sell.
For anyone that is interested the seller is king3535king.
I sent him a message earlier stating that he has wasted my time and that I have missed out on 2 other machines due to his messing me about.
Well. I have just had a phone call from him. Apparently he didn't do the listing it was someone who works for him and they forgot to put the reserve on. I then explained that it would have been nice to have been advised of this earlier.
At this point he went into a rage, was abusive and threatened to come round and 'kick my head in'.
At which point I put the phone down.
He phoned again and continued his childish rant.
All I can say is, beware seller, king3535king.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

What a horrible person.
People like that make me want make a false account and just buy it and never pay lol (not that I would).
But anyway, just report them to whoever you can0 -

Two wrongs don't make a right though, so I won't be doing it.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

He's sold the shower before as well.
He looks like he could be a business seller, but trying it on without a business account.0 -
you can report him to ebay as a non performing seller, and make sure you block him from any of your own listings, what a horror0

I'd report him as a non performing seller, and leave factual negative feedback i.e. "seller refused to sell and became aggressive/rude when contacted."Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
As already posted report him. Negative feedback with the details ect.
Invite him round when you've got a few friends at yours to discuss the finer points of ebay selling? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
