Hello,
i'm wanting a bit of advise. I'm wanting to travel to Orlando in June but was wondering how i ago about getting the visa thing? The only thing is that that i was in trouble about 12years ago and was wondering if this would stop me from going.
Any help would be great.

Hi depends on what you have done. You fill the visa online and I think it costa £9 each. You have to declare if you have a criminal record. One of our friends last year had to miss his holiday because he filled his form in to late and had put he had been charged with fraud (had bought a dodgy road tax disc). He had to go to the US embassy for an interview but there was 1 6mth wait. I the end thery were not bothered as this is a minor thing (they dont have road tax in us). My OH has a record from when he was a teenager and got into a fight but I dont put this down as it was years ago. If you have been i trouble dur to drugs they might not give you the visa. Look on the main disney thread above and if you put a search on this forum for USA visa Martin did an article on it and which website to go to etc.

Martin's article - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/esta-usa-visa
If you are eligible for the Visa Waiver Program then you need to get ESTA authorization, the official site is here https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/ details about the information required is here https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/WebHelp/ESTA_Screen-Level_Online_Help_1.htm#WP2 . It costs $14.
Regarding the 'trouble', it will depend on what it was -http://travel.state.gov/pdf/VWP-QuickReferenceGuide.pdfEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0
