playing the waiting game

Hi,

so, i have made an offer on a house that me and my partner like, the house is currently a builders ex part ex-change. It been over 24hrs and we havent heard anything back - do you think i should call the EA to find out what is happening or is this normal? I dont want to look to eager but equally i want to know what they thought to the offer we made....

Any aadvice is much appreciated...

    I thought it was probably best to wait, but as i hadn't dealt with buying from a builder before didnt really know what the process was with them... but equally i do really want to know where we stand etc...

    and not only that but the EA's contact in the builder's office has gone to the dentist. And when he gets back and gets the message, the person he usually deals with at head office is on holiday this week so he's got the secretary asking around to find out who can make a decision on your offer...

    Dealing with businesses can be better than individuals because there is less emotion involved. But it can be sooooo much worse because there is less personal motivation for the individuals on the other side as well!

    As has been said - patience!
