heres a neat way of getting you bonnet open on your old banger
it is benificial to have a replacement bonnet at the ready.
I think it was cut a bit further forward and a little bit to the rear the oil and water would be accessible

Christ... last time i had a prob opening the bonnet on one of my cars, a screwdriver through the grill on the catch did the trick.0

not as fun tho most vauxhalls i have had allow entry using a stick or garden cane through the grill
this being an audi shows that zee germans build things with protection in mind lol0 -
