Canon Powershot G6

Hi there,
Trying to find the best price, and UK version not a grey or US import, for the Canon Powershot G6.
Ebuyer.com has a good price (£381) but gets bad reviews in Pricerunner, as do a couple of the others, next jump up to firms I'd consider decent is over £400...

Ebuyer are getting better and better with there CS...... I would order anything from them.

7day shop have it for £379.00 + 3.95 p+p
They are usually pretty reliable but you will have to wait a few more days for delivery.

It was 7 day shop and ebuyer I found cheapest on PriceRunner, but both get a real kicking from recent reviews, wrong items sent, no answer to customer support, and people saying items were grey imports not UK versions... love the price, but worried about the service and if the items are genuine...

I've bought from both companies in the past without any problems at all."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

So have I.
I would buy from ebuyer first. Have had no real trouble and very cheap. Check the 7dayshop small print about duty and VAT before ordering.0 -
Bought a router from them without any probs. Keep in mind that the reviews you are seeing are likely to be from dissatisfied customers...if you knew what % they were of total sales, then you could judge0

i think ebuyer get an unfair slating(quite regurlarly on this board), you have to remember a lot of people only bother writing reviews when something goes wrong (not when it goes well)...think how many customers ebuyer has and its daily trade, im sure the percentage of happy customers is quite clost to the top of the scale...ive dealt with ebuyer LOADS and *touches wood* never had any problems.
well thats just my opinion, rant over0 -
Ebuyer are fine until you have a problem. Just pray you don't have a problem because they aren't the easiest company to deal with when you do. Only using e-notes, hiding away address and no contact phone number etc. Trading Standards appears to have a nice file on them and people have taken them to the small claims court to get their money back.
So far I haven't had any problems with them but then I've never spent more than £70 on any one item with them.0 -
wait for the psituation to change?0

....and get Jessops to pricer match.
They don`t guarantee too, but say they will try. I got them to PM an online price and saved £60.0
