Hi all,
bought a friend a digital photo frame for christmas. Unfortunately they left the plug in & it hs shorted/fused/broken. It is a moulded plug, so needs a new adapter buying. Trouble is, I am struggling to find where to get one.:o
The adapter/charger is a CP0510.
The back of the plug has the following written on it:
Alba 7" digital photo frame
model no DPF070AW
Only use charger CP0510
Argos mk9 2NW1018
power supply 5v-1a
I'm not techy at all. If anyone can give advice/guidance/a link to where one can be bought, I'd be most grateful.:)

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

ask argos for a replacement!!

Maplins should do something equivalent0

Is there a fuse in the plug? Has that blown? It would be much cheaper than replacing the adapter.
If not then how does the power supply connect to the photo frame? Is there some form of power plug and if so what type is it? Size and shape? Does it have a hole in the end of it where a small prong could fit?
Until we know the connector, an adapter cannot really be recommended.0 -
if it was bought dec 2010, it will be under warranty!!

It is a Mains Adapter, not a moulded plug.
As suggested, it will be under warranty, take it back to Argos.0 -
Thanks to all for the replies.
The downside to taking it back to argos, is that despite my hunting, I can't locate the receipt.:o
reckon their customer service would be good enough to replace without a receipt? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
You don't need a receipt, you need proof of purchase. A bank or credit card statement will suffice. If you paid by cash, then you have a problem. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Just a thought
Could you cut the moulded plug off and replace with an ordinary plug? If the Argos return thingy doen't work out for you.The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0
