Decided to have one last go and got as far as "pay now" on PayPal, then the temp page, refreshed a few times, then checked my emails and it went through!!!!!!!! :j:D

A little dissapointed that I couldn't get the No7 though.
  • Just been into Aberdeen Bon-Accord Centre branch. Mainly tat left - few children's pjs with 75% off and lots of Fearne Cotton sets, wrapping paper, pictures frames, sweets, botanics gift sets but not much else
  • out of noseyness, is there a perk to putting 2 orders? rather than one big one?

you get peace of mind knowing you put one order through, then go back and look to see if stuff is still in stock to make a 2nd. Thats my thinking
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

After 3 hours of refreshing, I have managed to get through to the payment page and now it's not allowing payments by debit card. Great system.

Well, didn't get the conf. email from boots, got one from paypal so cash was taken and it was taken from the balance, not the card as the system wouldn't let me switch to card (thought it might be easier to get a refund if it was on CC). And the list of items on the paypal email was odd, one soap I got 3 of actually said I only got one but that it cost as much as three of them! We shall see, I knew it was a risk ordering when it's all haywire, I just want my money back if nothing else, lol.

this is exactly what happened to me but the conf email from boots - when it arrived did list the multiple items, it was just the paypal receipt that said 1. i'm sure you'll be ok, be patient :D

  • Finally got my order through, but there were a few things in my basket I wanted to take out, but it wouldn't let me!

So, between my early morning raid on the store, and the stuff on my order online, I have actually managed to get everything I wanted - which is a miracle!

Just have to figure out now how to stay awake until the kids bedtime - been up all night!!

Keep trying, I got through to the Payment stage loads of times before I finally managed to get the order in.

I give up, and i've only been trying for an hour, I really don't know how some of you have managed 8 hours of this dross!

I only wanted a couple of James Brown shampoo gift sets, I get as far as paying with my card and the authorisation screen. It doesn't look as if the order has gone through but with having to refresh the screen all the time I'm worried they'll take multiple payments. What a shambles and I would expect, completely embarrassing for the company. Sort it out Boots, you are losing customers!

Is it worth buying one of those Billy Cotton hatboxes (if I can get on the site)?
