How do you change electricity providers

Never done it, but considering doing so as current deal expires on Feb 1st. I'm currently with E-on

    3 ways:
    1) Phone the new supplier,
    2) Go via a switching site,
    3) Go via something like Quidco to gain cash back

    Work out your kWh annual consumption (from your bills, or phone your current supplier).
    Input this data in to a comp site to find your cheapest tariff.
    Switch via a cashback site.
    Maybe 30 mins work in total.
    However, it take about 6 weeks to switch, so I'm afraid you're too late to get all the benefit on your winter heating bills. You should ideally have commenced the process in late December.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
