Hi,
Completley confused about facts and figures as 3 different www's have said 3 different figures. Before I ring the HMRC I would be grateful if anyone with similar setup to me can tell me what they get for the month please for the childcare element?
me working 35 hours pw - pre tax 26200
mrs working 16 hours pw - pre tax 7800
1 child in school and 1+ year old about to go to a nursery. Cost is £100 a week childcare.
anyone got any rough figures please?
Cheers

You should get 80% of your childcare costs ie £80 a week but this will be lumped in with your other tax credits elements and then the income related reduction will be applied. What does it say on your award notice?0
