  • I always find that a couple of stiff drinks calms me down ..... ;)

Seriously though, good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine. Just remember, the examiner is not trying to catch you out. Also remember, if the examiner seems a bit cold and detached - he's just doing his job, he's not allowed to chat to you about anything not directly concerned with the test, so don't take it personally !

Who says that? Of course they are allowed to chat with you. Some do it to help your nerves, while others are grumpy old farts and won't speak at all.
  • my driving examiner was a hot woman with a fairly short skirt on it shouldnt have been allowed but i coped with it

I stand corrected. That was the official line when I took my test - mind you, back then part of the test was Dinosaur Avoidance Techniques :D

Then of course, you will get those that fail and blame the examiner for distracting them by chatting too much. ;)

    What did you fail on?
  • Ive rebooked the test but I'll be 37 weeks so dont even know if I'll be able to take it but got to give it another go.

Got 6 minors and 2 serious.

2 Serious were for stopping behind a car waiting to turn right when I should have gone into the bus park to go past and another for letting 2 girls cross the road, how dare I be courteous.

Sorry, I know they failed me for a reason but I just feel like !!!!!!
