Converting videos to Ipod Video format - Which software ?

The title says it all. I have tried a range of software progs but all with no success. Are there any that are reliable and do not take hours ?

Nothing that you can do about how long it takes. Unfortunately, these things take time, and it takes longer to convert some formats.

Thanks for this, but i have tried to access this webiste 3 times, and on each it has crashed Internet Explorer !
