Debenhams Card - Wrong Card Sent

My wife applied a few weeks ago for a Debenhams Mastercard online, got accepted with £500 limit, got email confirmation as it being a Credit Card with Card and PIN to follow.
Today she gets a Debenhams store card !, phones up and gets someone in india who did not have a clue, said just to close this account and reapply !, which she does not want to do as she has already applied and been accepted !.

She could try emailing them to explain their mistake and ask for a correct card to be sent out and asking them whether they want the store card returning or destroying.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
