Should I??

Options
hey, finally got my sweaty palms on a CC from my Bank, Santander which gave me a guaranteed acceptance, 0% BT for 16months with no fee and 0% on buys for 3 months. I was also offered card insurance from PPI, £34.99 for for a year with no payment due or interest for 6 months, (i accepted but may well cancel under cooling off).

I know the general rule is not to spend on any BT cards but i've transferred my remaining Vanquish balance which was about £200 and intend on making the same monthly payments as i was on the vanquish card just to clear it faster.

My question is should i go on and spend on this card? i've read the recent email with interest about changing the way payments are credited to the account. I am only looking to spend small amounts and to pay off the balance of those spends on reciept of the statement.

Or have i got it wrong an just don't spend on it until i have cleared the balance transfer amount?

cheers

I personally think you should not have anything to do with Santander as they are the worst bank who have ever stepped foot in this country..

Yeah, because that answer's OP's question really well doesn't it!

OP, I would check your T&C's to see when the change is coming into effect and spend only after this if you need to. As long as you add the full amount of your spends to your monthly payment you should be fine
