as the title says, i'm done, i just cant cope with trying to put on the brave face any more, it seems like no matter how hard we try to get things to go in our favour the world just wants to kick us back down, What with trying to snowball our personal debts, the Business PG arriving at our door and now my Hubby losing his job, it feels like no matter how hard we try to do the right thing, we just get kicked over and over again,
How do you guys do it, how do you keep on going when everything seems to be against you??

Have a good cry, eat chocolate and then just live your life....... works for me
Hope things improve soon honeybun xxSome days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -
I didn't want to read and run.
From what I have read in here, we all have days when we cope better than others. And we all understand the feeling of bursting into tears because it all seems hopeless. I can't offer you advice, only support but I'm sure someone will be along soon that is more useful.
hugs

Hi I am sorry that all your luck at the moment is bad luck. The new of your OH losing his job must be such a blow. Hopefully your luck will change soon and things will pick. At times like these we need to draw on our own strength (and the strength of others around us) so please try not to get too disheartened - the last thing you need right now is for your health (emotional or physical) to suffer. I would give myself time to get over the shock/anger, maybe visit a close friend to have a right good moan. If you don't have anyone near you, you have my permission to go out and buy a coffee and/or a bun to console yourself and then try to get up tomorrow once you've slept on it and hopefully you will feel more positive. Remember everyone here is rooting for you. Please don't give up xxxMarie

I love your tag line, honeybun.
I don't know what to say really, but I think sometimes you feel like you are making progress and sometimes you feel like you are making none.
Have you checked out what benefits you'll be entitled to with hubby not working?
I really hope things look up for you soon.0 -
its sucky when life is thowing you lots of sh1tty stuff, and you really should take some time to be really kind to yourself and your dh as well. I think the best thing though is try to be positive (of course after you have got through feeling how unfair it is), you can't change what is happening right now, but things will change and they WILL be ok. Its only money. If you cannot pay your debt repayments contact your creditors and offer a new arrangement. Take faith from your lovely family and be happy. I have found resently just by telling myself things are great and how excited I am about life I feel this way (and I have had quite a few knocks over the last week, they suck but I refuse to let those things change how I feel about life) xDF as at 30/12/16

Hiya Honeybun, so sorry to hear this. Putting on a brave face, were all so good at doing that at times, aren't we. I understand that feeling, of doing the best you can and all the barriers that come our way, making what we do seem as if were not moving forward. I have days when a good cry is all I needed. It just makes me feel good, because I have let it all out.
It's real hard and I am sorry your other half has lost his job. I hope he will find another soon. It's hard to stay positive when so many things are not going well at the moment, but if you can, try and look after yourself the best you can. It's not easy when so much is going on and everything can seem overwhelming. Finding the solutions are not easy, but I would make a suggestion to just deal with one day at a time. Do what you can, thats all you can do. Support each other and work together as you would and hopefully things will make more sense and you find ways to get through this rough time.0 -
Hi honeybun, looking at your signature you have done an amazing job on your debts to date, don't forget some of that firghting spirit, no matter how deeply it is buried at the moment.
it never ceases to amaze me how crap life can be for some people, with one thing after another, but (there is a famous saying by someone I can't remember that goes something like) "life is s*** but considering the alternative its not so bad". You might like to get some advice/support from the CAB who will be able to advise the best course of action in informing your creditors regarding the situation. I hear they do a truly fantastic job and can help with speaking to them directly.
Give yourselves lots of TLC, be good to each other and try to tackle one thing at a time.
At times like these (and there have been many) I usually resort to a a good couple of glasses of wine, not ideal or healthy particularly but it sure does work for me, well for that night anyway.

I heard on the radio that today is blue Monday - lots of people feeling down so don't feel alone! Just keep at it and enjoy the simple things - walks in the park and cosy eveningsxxx:rotfl:0
