Spotify-like services

I’m looking for a service similar to Spotify.. I found out about it through a friend, but can’t seem to find anything similar here. Does anyone know? (and I don’t mean services like Pandora or Last.fm)

gooveshark is good but it is of questionable legality and (because it's songs are uploaded by the comunity) audio quality can be severly lacking and worse when a song cuts out part way through because someone uploaded a 'sample' rather than the full track.

but I would say spotify is the best of them all.

AFAIK Spotify is on the verge of going live in the USA, so you shouldn't have to wait too long to be able to use it.
