driving licence query advise plse

Hi moved house so was going to send in the photo id to change. 2 weeks later couldnt find the licence then i did in the washing lol and tumble dryer so as you can guess its mangled to a pulp ..

so basically this licence is no use so may as well be classed as lost so to speak..

so do i apply for a new one (at cost) or do i send in a reported lost damaged form (if one exists) or just reapply for change of address

dont want to do something off the cuff that would cost if i can get it free with the change of address but when i did this years ago i had to send in old licence..

ive tried looking on the website but to no avail

i think you pay for change of address, replacement, new photo etc i doubt there is a way to get a free one lol if you find a way let me know

i have to renew my photo and its going to cost me £20

I've never paid to change the address on my license, just fill in the bottom of the paper part and send it off.

I'd report it as lost or damaged, if that carries a fee then you'll have to pay it.
