Cooke & Lewis shower enclosures, any good?

Over priced. Try looking online you will probably get a better shower for less money.

Getting the long hair from out of the plug thing is a needlessly difficult job - poor design.

It was just the enclosure I was asking about, dont want to buy one and the doors fall off or it leaks in a couple of months. Anyone got one?

Yes and the enclosure part is lovely - sturdy and looks good and we are very happy with it. 900 corner entry Deluvio

And we paid just over £400 for the enclosure/tray/riser kit for tray as it's on a solid floor.

hi I had a cooke and lewis shower fitted for 2 years and last monday morning 2am a whole panel exploded if anyone had been in the shower or even the bathroom they would have cut to shreds

if its b&q i wouldn't bother. cant get spares or replacement parts. buy from a proper supplier not a diy shed.

To be fair, that's a known problem with toughened glass, which is stressed by the heating/toughening process.

The little pieces don't have such sharp edges like ordinary glass, which is why it is safer.

To be fair that is only B&Q who you should tar with that brush!

Both Homebase and Wickes use Aqualux for Shower Enclosures and they are pretty good for spares.....
