Last minute deals - what's your best?

Hello! :j
I am planning a last minute break in April - I've booked the time and plan to book the holiday a couple of days before we go.
What is the best last minute deal you have managed?
Has anyone managed a 5 star hotel for cheap? A week away for a hundred quid each?
I'm just curious as to how good the deals are when it comes to a few days before booking, having never done anything this last minute before.

April is the Easter holidays, demand is high, the only holidays left may be ones you don't want to go on.
Consider finding something now that may suit you and offer good value for money.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
You wont get 5 star for £100 each just impossible

Hi, I managed to get a few late deals -
5* hotel in Albuferia Portugal for £132pp for 7 nights (self catering), although this was in 2006.
Tenerife 2009, 4* 7 nights, self catering - £209pp
I was looking on teletext holidays for late deals December, Tenerife and Lanzarote, for 4 nights (although, there were 7 nights for just as cheap), £82 per person, including flights and accommodation - this was all inclusive!!! Had to add on £15pp for transfers and £15pp for baggage (I was only going for 4 nights so hand lugguage was ok for us) But that works out at £112 pp for an all inclusive holiday - cant complain!

I know - I just meant had you got a brill last minute holiday for £100 or a 5 star deal! I didn't mean a 5 star for £100 - although that would be lovely!26/09/2017 - Started comping again. Wins so far: 1!

Don't get excited about a brill last minute deal, it is highly unlikely.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I went to book a "last minute deal" 2 weeks prior to travelling 2 years ago and the travel agent told me there is no such thing now - they actually put another fee on for booking it last minute
But on teletext there are some really good last minute holidays...

I'm just interested in what deals people have bagged in the past from a purely moneysaving point of view.
I'll find something last minute and if I don't, I won't go.

We might be able to find something suitable now within your budget.
Where can you fly from in the UK?
How many people?
What dates can you go?
What sort of holiday? City, Adventure or Beach?
What sort of budget?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Research the prices for your dates now so you what a deal is.
then keep looking till something comes up at a price you are prepared to pay this could be any time betwee now and then.
Remember flight can be the issue in the busy periods.0 -
I got a bargain for April 2009 (over the Easter holiday period), 10 nights, Las Vegas, Staying at Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino (4*), £450 per person!!
I cant even find flights for that price this year never mind the whole holiday
