Does anyone know the best way to clean venetian blinds. I have both aluminium and wooden slatted blinds and they are a pain to clean.

http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-a-Venetian-Blind has some suggestions. I always just put a pair of gloves on and run my fingers along all the slats on the rare occasions I get bored enough to consider cleaning them.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

I use a vacuum cleaner method as mention in link above. I have a soft brush attachment which I run along the slats. I dont find those ventian blind cleaners any good
I did find cleaner metals ones a real pain and the dust would stick, so I replaced them as I wanted a different colour anyway to white uvpc which I find easier to wipe over0
