Has anyone else ever been charged for credit card protection payment without being asked? Its just happened to me with Egg Card. They told me it would take 8 weeks to investigate! Anyone got any tips on how do this faster and whether i should contact the financial ombudsman to complain?

hi all, i recently had a letter from Egg stating my claim had been upheld but they couldn't calculate the payment due to the Judicial Review, i checked and found this to be in breach of the rules and e-mailed them to ask them to continue and calculate my offer, they responded 2 days later stating the same thing as before.
is it worth going to the FOS as i believe they fast track upheld claims and is the judicial review likely to go in our favour, i assume legal opinion is already sought.0
