Any New Cat Deterrents

We have a cat (I think it is a specific one) that comes into our garden and does it's business on our lawn. I thought cats always buried it, but this one obviously does not care.

Have been back through the forums to see lots of different ways of putting it off, but none of them have worked, or they are impractial.

Is there any new ideas around? I went out there a few days ago and there was 10 little heeps on the lawn, and it is not a big lawn!

I am desperate, I should not have to check my shoes before I go back inside, and we have little kids next door that have an open invitation to come into our garden to retrieve balls etc.

Please help!!

  • Are you sure it's cats and not foxes?

I've heard regular application of human urine works against both, not tried it yet myself.

  • Have to admit that scarecrow thing looks interesting, will have to see if I can find one cheaper.

I am sure it is cats as opposed to foxes, fox faeces are totally different.

I have tried the human urine thing (dispensed from a bottle) which did absolutely nothing!

Not new but my uncle used lion poo (got it from our local safari park) and said it worked perfectly-the cats could smell a bigger feline so wouldn't enter the garden. He said it wasn't a pleasant journey home with it in the boot though:rotfl:
