Dreamboats and Petticoats is about carousels, colored lights, polka spots, quiffs and dodgems, full of fun dance & hearty music. It is about teenage love and the pains a young heart experiences in love. Dreamboats and Petticoats is also about the will to keep trying and belief in one own self and above all it is about having fun. You would be able to predict right from the moment you see the look on Laura’s face when she sets her eyes on Bobby that they will be together in the end. But surprisingly, you do not care because one after another, forty rock’n’roll numbers would keep the smiles and shireks pinned to you faces throughout the two and half hours of the show.

Dreamboats and Petticoats is being hosted at the Playhouse Theatre in London. The main cast includes Scott Burton (BOBBY), Ben Freeman (NORMAN), Daisy Wood-Davis (Laura), Jennifer Biddall (SUE), AJ Dean (RAY), Emma Hatton (DONNA).

Charles Spencer of the Telegraph recently gave Dreamboats and Petticoats four stars, calling it "lovely" and reporting that it really brought the memories flooding back.
