  • I bought one of these a while ago for 5 pounds and used it in Glasgow. The salon is in the Merchant City in town. In fairness it's a nice salon and the haircut I got was pretty good. The only thing I would say is that it was clear I wasn't their top priority as I was left sitting with wet hair for about 20 mins and the hairdresser kept leaving to check on other client's hair. In the end it took the best part of 2 hours for a simple cut. I know it was cheap so I can't really complain but just wanted to let people know if they're buying in Glasgow. You'll get a nice cut but make sure you schedule the time in!
  • well lets hope that all that have sent off gets a good hair cut :)

Totally agree. I got my OH a gift voucher through News of the World last year from buyagift.com. Fortunately it was free, only p&p to pay.
You phone up with your details and the local hairdresser you choose is meant to get back to you. They didnt so OH phoned hairgroup who was given hairdressers number. She phoned them and said they werent taking them anymore.
    My advice is avoid.

    exactly my experience.

Apparently there were nowhere that would take te voucheers "in my postcode" I said its OK I live in london, will go anywhere in london

Answer, no there is no where that will take you

Waste of time and nothing but bad publicity IMO ,whats the point?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I had one of these once and it was fine, there was a nice salon in my town that was doing it a while back and it was a great freebie. I was treated just as well as any other customer.I have checked a few times since but there haven,t been any in my area for a while.

I agree with others that I wouldn't buy it as a present though, as the salons in your area might pull out of it, before you get the chance to use the voucher.
  • may be a waste of time for some but still a great freebiw if you are lucky enough to live in one of the areas specified goodness people lighten up !

  • STAY CLEAR OF THE HAIR GROUP.

I tried booking an appoinment with a hair group voucher after looking on their web site I saw a city about 5 miles from where I live but I couldnt use the voucher as I wasnt in that city. Even though I lived less than 10 mins away.

So dont relay on any vouchers from the hair group waste of time.

Groupon are good they do daily deals from loads of cities.Hair cuts and colour etc.
  • I sent off a form once. Never heard back, a couple of friends did the same. I guess you have nothing to lose, but you might never actually hear from them!
  • I got a sales call @ work about my appointment then I called them and booked - I had used them before 4/5 years ago but finally decided too expensive - so getting this is a bonus - only prob is just noticed the letter doesn't say it's actually free - bit worrying but I'll call again before I go !!
