I bought one from buy a gift as well (I think it was £1.95 P&P).
I never got the haircut, but I wasn't too bothered as I had a massage from the beauty group, but no hair salons in my area (any more).0 -
Sent away a coupon last year for this from the express. They left a message on my phone to call them, without saying who they were, and then I was treated to a sales call for another product. There is a salon fairly near me, about 10 miles away but they said there is none in my area. If you buy the magazine good and well but I wouldn't buy it for the offer as you are unlikely to get it and will get sales calls.0

Oh goodness see doom & gloom is still rife on the boards then
. If you were paying then fair enough but its a free offer from a fully insured salon.
People really need to get a grip for goodness sake !***avid money saver***0 -
I agree with you peacelilly if getting for yourself.
However these vouchers are actually sold for about £20 on sites like buyagift and I think it's fair to warn people that they are not good to give someone as a gift.
If it's free and for yourself, then go ahead. Then it doesn't matter if it doesn't work out.0 -
Theirs a few salons listed for Birmingham, anyone used them - want to see if its worth the hastle, i'd hate 2 apply and turn up at a grimey salon!!!!!!!!!!! xXx:j No regrets & lots of Smiles!!! :j0
-
I very much doubt they will be grimey, they are trying to get new customers and it's generally quite good salons that can do it for free.
The salon I went to (not your area) was quite upmarket.
The main problems are that some areas have NO salons and other salons drop out.0 -

My husband paid £30 in Boots for an experience voucher for me for one of these haircuts a couple of years ago and the salon had no idea that some people were paying for them, they do not get a penny regardless of whether the customer has paid upfront or not and it took me weeks to get an appointment. It is possible to get the freebies but I didn't manage to get one last time I tried, the salon was too busy and weren't doing any more of them, as a few others have said DO NOT risk getting these for a gift for someone.2020 Wins:
