Yes its all perfectly fine informing the FSA how ever they will not do anything. as wonga is not governed by the FSA. so point one good luck.

    How about the FLA then??

    from Wonga website -
Wonga is a member of the Finance and Leasing Association(FLA) and we abide by its Lending Code. Should any customer make a complaint about our service, we will endeavour to resolve it within 48 hours, but if the complainant is not satisfied they can contact the FLA and request a conciliation procedure.
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

I personally welcome the post from wongaadvisor.

I printed it off and give it to my eight year old to practice correction of spelling, grammar and punctuation.

and it does show the customer the details they entrered this is a case of learning on how to check and check again. you wouldnt mountin climb up a verticle mountin with out checking your ropes are fine.

No dictionaries in Wonga's office then? :rotfl:

My friend, I can reassure you that if you have not received money, that you do not need to pay anything back. Do not listen all these credit experts. You might have put wrong sort code by mistake and it is not your problem that they send money to a non-existent bank account. As wonga operates only with UK bank accounts it is impossible to lose their money if payment went to a non-existent bank account. And if they persist with request to pay money back - my advice, go to Citizen Advice Bureau and ask for a help to make a court claim. You might get compensation for a moral damage, because their money have not actually left their account, but they are telling you opposite story. Here is England, people here have rights, so use them, law is in your side. Just make sure that you have evidence of what you have said before you are going anywhere.
And if it not gonna work after all, I know some people in London who will visit their office and they will try to speak politely with a top managers of that company. And after that, such kind of problems instantly vanishing in air and people receive apologies. But that favor would cost some money and it is the last thing you should consider.

Wonga are by far the worst payday loan company i've ever come across, The customer service is the worst i have ever experienced in my life (i thought Capital one and MBNA where bad), Whats with the 20 minute holding when you try and talk to a customer rep on the phone ? Surely you scammers aren't that popular ? Unless its a endless que of unhappy customers, Then the advisor hadn't a clue on what to do, I sure as hell wont be using your dreadful, Shocking services again, You guys take the definition 'Daylight robbery' To a new level, And with an attitude like that, I can see why so many people hate wonga.
