Looking into my PM’s, I find this:- “You have 0 confirmed and 1 unconfirmed private message receipts”
But when I click on it I get this message:-
“derrick, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
None of the above restrictions apply to me, or at least I do not think they do, I am certainly not trying to edit someone else's post etc.
But when I click on it I get this message:-
“derrick, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
- Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
- If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.”
None of the above restrictions apply to me, or at least I do not think they do, I am certainly not trying to edit someone else's post etc.

The message receipt system was disabled shortly after this new board was first set up. It think a lot of people found them annoying.
Disabling stuff in vbulletin just denies you permission to use a page rather than deleting anything - which is why you get that message.
It is only the reciept you cannot get access to - not the original PM, which I'd imagine was deleted a long time ago0 -
So is there any point having the confirmed message receipts on show? can't they be done away with? i.e. deleted from the pm page so they are not seen?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

I don't think you can, I'm a forum moderator on another forum, its not vbulletin so I'm not sure but I don't think so.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0
