Cheap Kindles - full best-buys, codes and discounts

Back to the original post.....

The cheapest way Ive found of buying a kindle would be from currys, reserve & collect at £111, but with top cashback of 3.03%. Can anyone beat this?

Depending on the cost of driving to your nearest Currys it could be cheaper at the same price post free from Amazon which isn't on offer from Currys.

I doubt you'd see better cashback than that and nobody seems to be selling at a discount.
  • hadnt thought of petrol costs. Amazon through nectar might be best

Nectar promotion with Amazon is 1 point / pound which works out at 111 points, or 55p.

Thank you so much for that code CATIEO. I also tried the other code and it did not work but managed to use the code you provided. DH will be pleased with his christmas present.

I've seen reports in computer press that a leading seller has reported poorer than expected results on kindle and that this may mean further price cutting. has anyone seen this happening?
  • I'm currently looking to buy a kindle for my girlfriend and there doesn't seem to be a big change in the price (for the same kindle) anywhere.

The only way I can think of to get it cheaper than straight from Amazon (seeing as it is an Amazon product) is to by it from Tesco or another supermarket and find a friend or relative who works at one an has a staff discount and get them to buy it for you....

Sorry I couldn't help, but just thought I'd share that in case anyone hadn't thought of it for them self :D
