Whilst onto a local, supposedly reputable, site I clicked to view a page and my browser shrank to the size of a postage stamp. MB, Avira and Supwrantispyware showed clear. The same thing occured to the OH's laptop as well. No harm has been done but any ideas of the cause and what to do to prevent it occuring again.

your browser shrank? as in the actual window shrank (and you cannot maximise it)?0

Does it exhibit the same behaviour with IE ? It could be just badly coded to use IE facilities that are not W3C recommended, or it could be a bug in FF

Yep, you can maximise but it shrinks again. Closed browser, restarted after a turnoff and its clear. Tried the site again and all was clear. Ran the usual checks and the only one which baulked was threatfire rootkit killer. Similar on the other laptop but she gets other messages.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

DCM, just tried on IE and works fine, just not on F/F. For a website design company I'm surpeised.
Thanks for the assist.
