BP on Petrolprices.com

Hi

My local petrol station is a BP station, yet when I search petrolprices.com no BP stations come up. When I see the map they put on the page they are not there. I know it's only showing the top 10 cheapest, but I wondered if I was missing something, like BP not making their prices available to this service.

Anyone know why BP does not come up?

cheers

    From petrolprices.com FAQ
How is your fuel data gathered?

Our fuel data is gathered from Fuel Card users. When they purchase fuel with their card, we know what type of fuel they bought and how much it cost. Since there are tens of thousands of fuel card users in the UK, we are able to update our prices at around 8,000 stations each and every working day.

    How many garages are listed?

There are just over 10,000 garages in the United Kingdom of which we are currently aware; however, some of them have been closed or do not accept fuel cards, and therefore we do not list them on the site.

Maybe nobody's used a fuel card at the local BP station lately.
  • Hey,

    I work for Fubra (petrolprices.com)!

It is because BP garages are usually a bit more expensive compared to other Petrol Stations like Tesco etc.

We definitely show data for BP because we get our data when people use fuel cards. And BP offer a fuel card so we have their prices.

If your still having problems or you are sure they are not showing for you please let me know.

In a couple of weeks your notice a change on petrolprices.com ;)

Its having a complete redesign with some new features :)

    Thanks

This could also be the reason but BP are one of the most used fuel cards, so unless your out in the sticks its unlikely that its because noone has used a fuel card there.
